CARRY OUT THE ROUTINE PLAN OF THE DAY FOR AT SEA PERIODS EXCEPT AS FOLLOWS:

0345	Relieve the watch.
0500	Call the duty ship's cook.
0545	Call the duty MAA; mess cooks, duty steward, and reveille PO's.
0600	Reveille. Reveille PO’s make reports to the OOD. Pipe sweepers. Muster all PIA's and restricted men.
0615	Mess gear, clear the mess decks.
0630	Breakfast.
0715	Relieve the watch. On deck the life boat crew.
0750	Set Condition 1 ASW. (Weather permitting)
0800	Commence evaluation exercises with the COBBLER, SIRAGO, and IVS. (Weather permitting)
0900	Secure from Condition 1 ASW. Turn to, commence ship's work. Sick call. 1000 Division officers inspection of berthing spaces.
1115	Mess gear, clear the mess decks. Knock off ship's work.
1130	Dinner.
1245	Secure the mess line.
1300	Turn to, continue ship's work.
1530	Knock off ship's work.
1545	Relieve the watch.
1715	Mess gear, clear the mess decks.
1730	Supper.
1745	Relieve the watch.
1815	Secure the mess line.
1915	On deck the life boat craw.
1930	Eight o'clock reports.
1945	Relieve the watch. Rig movies.
2000	Movie call.
2130	Unrig movies. Sweepdawn. Muster all PIA’s and restricted men. 2200 Taps, light out. The smoking lamp is out in all berthing spaces. 2345 Relieve the watch.

NOTES

The following is a Pretext for the Bay of Pigs invasion on April 17, 1961

1. The ship has been designated as a participant in the next Mercury shot. We will depart Norfolk on 1 April. It is not known what our return date will be yet. As soon as further information becomes available, all will be informed.
All hands are reminded that any information concerning this deployment is classified
